"It was a shock," Bridges said. "I couldn't believe it. It's a great honor — one of the best things that's happened in my life. I was proud of going there and being on those two teams in '69 and '70. Playing with those guys is one of my favorite things to think about in my golden years."

From half scholarship to Hall of Fame: Don Bridges set for PRCC Athletics Hall of Fame induction POPLARVILLE, Miss. — Donald Bridges arrived at Pearl River Community College with little fanfare and just a half scholarship.

"I was just shocked," Barber said. "I didn't know the criteria for getting into the Hall of Fame. I didn't know if you could only play one year and still be nominated. I was thankful, appreciative and honestly just in shock after all these years."

One historic season earns Judy Barber Hall of Fame honor POPLARVILLE, Miss. — Judy Barber only wore the maroon and gold for one season, but that was all she needed to leave a permanent mark on Wildcat softball.

"From the moment I received the phone call offering me this opportunity at PRCC, I knew it was something special," Ladner said. "Not only do I have the opportunity to come home, but I also get to do what I am truly passionate about. The faculty and staff have welcomed me with open arms, and I am incredibly grateful to be part of the PRCC family."
