Highschool students, do you want to build your resume and lead state policy before you even graduate?🧑‍🎓

Join the YMCA Youth and Government program! Choose from five exciting sections and gain hands-on civic engagement experience. Whether you are passionate about debating real court cases, writing and defending legislation, producing news stories, or discussing solutions to a current issue, there is a place for you here.

Students will have the opportunity to simulate what they have learned at a district conference in Houston. Some students may also qualify to move on to state and showcase their political skills on a much larger scale.

Registration ends on October 4th! Make sure you attend our next meeting to secure your spot.

Yoga at the Art Museum of Southeast Texas!🎨🧘

Yesterday, we had the chance to slow down, stretch and recharge with our YMCA instructor, Lora, for an hour of gentle yoga surrounded by beautiful artwork. Before getting started, we enjoyed a brief guided walkthrough of the museum, making the experience even more special!
