2026 BATTLE OF THE BUSINESSES - (Post 3 of 3)

THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH! Such an amazing community we live in!❤️

Based on the money received for this event from entry fees, 50/50 drawing, raffle prize money, and monetary donations received, we are able to provide a donation of $2,700 to the Port Austin Fire Department and $2,700 to the Port Austin Fireworks fund.

As I said last year - they say it takes a village and we are so proud of everyone who came together who helped in any and every way to get this done. This shows what we can accomplish by getting together, having fun, and obtaining outstanding results for a wonderful cause.

Enjoy pictures of all the teams that competed and a few other photos of this event. We had 188 golfers out socializing and many others that came to show their support. Also lots of businesses and individuals who may not have golfed but supported this event with raffle prizes and/or monetary donations. PLEASE be sure to thank and support these businesses and individuals.

Our food truck this year was Smokin’ 7s BBQ who also donated to the cause.

Please keep this event in mind to participate in some way for next year.
Tip of the Thumb Mini Golf was the host of this event and organizing it but it’s success is with all of you as a community. Kudos to all of you. You are all awesome! Thank you again from all of us! Love you all! ❤️😎⛳️

2026 5th ANNUAL BATTLE OF THE BUSINESSES - (Post 2 of 3)

From all of us at Tip of the Thumb Mini Golf - THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!! ❤️ What a TREMENDOUS turnout for our fundraiser tournament.

A very big thank you to everyone who helped with this event whether you helped work the day of the tournament, golfed, sponsored a team, donated raffle prizes or came to watch and cheer on the players and supported the fundraiser by getting in on the raffles. It all matters to us. Congratulations to everyone.

The 2026 winners are as follows:
1st Place - The Wash - Team #1
2nd Place - Team Sunrise Real Estate
3rd Place - The Bank 1884
Last Place - Scrappies Squad

We had 47 teams (4 per team) golf in this great event. The money raised from this event will be donated to the Port Austin Fire Department and the Port Austin Fireworks.

Thank you also to Smokin’ 7s BBQ for attending this event and keeping everyone nourished.

Please take time to thank all these businesses and individuals who make this event so successful. We are so proud to be part of this wonderful community. ❤️

Another beautiful weekend in the books! The winners of our Girl’s Weekend baskets are pictured below along with some of our other golfers. Tonight we have our 5th Annual Battle of the Businesses. To all competing in our fundraiser - “May the Putts Be With You” and “Good Luck!”

Food truck - Smokin 7s BBQ will be ready at 4 pm at the course. All teams need to be at course no later than 5:45 pm. Thank you! 😎

We are so humbled by all the wonderful golfers we saw this weekend! ❤️ We couldn’t capture all our golfers but here are some who took time out of their vacation/schedule to spend some time at our course. Because of all of you, we have so much fun doing what we do. Our goal is to always hope everyone has a good time. THANK YOU all for choosing to check out Tip of the Thumb Mini Golf. 😎

We are now switching to our fall schedule and will be open on weekends: Saturday 11 am - 8 pm and Sunday 11 am - 6 pm.

We have a great special this Saturday, September 12 for Girl’s Weekend. All ladies golf 1/2 off that day and will be entered in a drawing for a gift basket give away.

We also have our 5th Annual Battle of the Businesses on Monday, September 14 at 6 pm to help support the Port Austin Fireworks and the Port Austin Fire Department.

Food Truck for BATTLE OF THE BUSINESSES on 9/14/26. Smokin’ 7s BBQ will be set up at the mini golf. Everyone in the area is welcome to come get some dinner that nite even if you are not participating in our fundraiser. Grab some dinner to take home or hang out and watch all the fun going on that night. They should be ready to start serving by 4 pm or so.

P.S. Teams that want to participate in the tournament - please get your registration forms and any raffle prizes in as soon as you can. Thank you! 😎❤️⛳️🏌🏼‍♀️
