The Buck Moon will rise over the Portage River, and we’ll be there to watch it from the best seat in the house… the water.

There’s something special about leaving the dock as daylight fades, listening to the evening sounds of the river, and watching the moon climb into the sky.

If you’ve never experienced one of our Full Moon Paddles, tomorrow is a great night to join us.

🏴‍☠️ Happy Pirate Fest Weekend, Port Clinton! 🏴‍☠️

If you’re heading downtown this weekend, keep an eye out for this 5-foot fantasy parrot I carved and donated for the festival raffle.

He was definitely one of the more challenging (and fun!) carvings I’ve done. He’s not based on any particular species… just a colorful pirate’s companion that came out of a log and a little imagination.

All proceeds from the raffle help support the festival, so if you see him while you’re there, be sure to grab a few raffle tickets. You just might end up taking him home!

Tickets are $10.

The festival kicks off today at 4pm and runs all weekend!
