It was a no photo Sunday FULL PULL WALLEYE BENDER.

Returning customer Shawna Klinger brought her grandson and a few other family members to do some October gator chasing.  32 Walleye to the house in less than three hours made it a great afternoon.

Since the big blow, the fish are definitely up, suspended and feeding more often. Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. 40’s @ 75-80 and 50’s @58

BADMO LURES were best, Yeck Lures proved worthy and Silver Streaks were solid. Rapala J7’s perform well on the corner rods i.e. 50TT.

First Mate Jim Katakis ran the stern with precision as always. As captains we are blessed to have the best first mates in the Walleye business! Big thanks to Harley at Reel Easy Charters for the info passed onto Jim yesterday!

Three more Walleye trips before focus on ducks/ geese start this Saturday.

Jim Katakis and I set up E of Kelley’s and headed SE. We picked until we found what we needed with a little help from Capt. Chip Fashner at Reel Easy Charters….then it was on; 80-90 Back at a ripping 2.3-2.4 kn. Thanks Chip!

New retired military network connection made with CSM(R) Jim Mauer of Veteran's Family Brigade. Good friend Jim brought a few pipe-hitting Retired Veterans from across the globe, my kind of people. Those who gave 20+ years of full Spectrum military offensive combat operations for our freedom.

Captain Nate’s Guide Service helped out Saturday for the Veterans/youth opener killing a nice stack of Ohio waterfowl. Thanks Nathan Greiner!

Sunday AM was a little slower with the Rev, but we still had some great opportunities and killed some big ‘ole open water greenheads. Sunday p.m. had MSG(R) Chad Prater and I on the crucible in Metzgers performing the marsh ‘long walk’. We had a great shoot targeting teal and a few other early migrants. Furthermore, we connected with our mutual ‘tribe’ contacts; 3rd Special Forces Group and notable SMU’s along with the men and women that hold a special place in our hearts.

Pulled a customer limit and got a few for the first mate. More photos coming of a good day yesterday. Four pastors on the boat getting down with Western Basin gators.

Pastors AJ Lewis, Mitch Hathaway Sonny Hathaway (former D1 James Madison Center) and the Rev dodged rain but dialed in a small pocket of fish at the 33 line and worked them over hard for the win.

Working with the Anchors Away Fleet we shared information and attempted to get the Walleye biting a little faster, but it was slow all the way around. If you found two fish within five minutes, best advice was to turn around and dial them in. I felt like a NASCAR driver for sure. 

Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. 40/50TT dealing death as always, not quite as deep yesterday however.

BADMO LURES Preacher and another BADMO mamma jamma prototype dominated

Bob Hayner/ Preacher Custom Hackle Colorado single blades/ color HO were effective yet again.

Big gators are moving back west.
Fat Lady is not at the Mic yet…..She sat back down for a hot minute. 🎤
