"Evening Out with Art" on July 10 at St. Thomas
The Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council is pleased to present a free program with Alice Holly about the history and art of St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church in Port Clinton this month.
The GPCAAC’s monthly “Evening Out with Art” programs are a glimpse into the artists and artistry in the Ottawa County area.
On Monday July 10 at 6pm, “The Hidden Treasures in Church” will feature Alice Holly, whose parents made the Stations of the Cross that hang in the church.
As an added bonus, Brian Shifflet will play piano and cello that evening.
St. Thomas' Episcopal Church (St. Thomas' Guild Hall; St. Thomas' Rectory) is a parish in the Episcopal Diocese of Ohio. Its historic Gothic Revival style church was built in 1896.
It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.
St. Thomas’ is located at 214 E. Second Street in Port Clinton.
Enter through the Guild Hall if you are unable to use the stairs in the front of the church.
