Huge congratulations to Seth and Jake!

This past Saturday, these two stepped onto the mats at the NAGA Detroit Tournament and put all of their hard work on display.

🥈 Seth brought home 2nd Place in his division.
🥇 Jake brought home 1st Place in his division.

Their performance was an incredible reminder that the fundamentals they work on every week, the countless rounds they've put in, and the determination they've shown in the gym all paid off. While we don't train specifically for tournaments, strong fundamentals and practical jiu jitsu have a way of translating wherever you choose to test yourself, and Seth and Jake proved exactly that.

We also want to give a huge thank you to everyone who came out to coach, cheer, and support them throughout the day. Your encouragement means more than you know. One of the best parts of jiu jitsu isn't just what you learn on the mats. It's the people you meet along the way. At Bordertown, we're building more than better grapplers. We're building a family.

We're incredibly proud of you both. Congratulations, Seth and Jake! 👏💙🥋
