I had set up to post the 34 exercises daily as it was meant to be, but life happened. Still, I was comitted to end the challenge.
I donāt always follow the rules, sometimes because I donāt want to and sometimes because I simply canāt.
But if I want to do something, like becoming a pilates teacher, I persevere, hit my head against a wall or two until a tiny crack is made.
For example the first comprehensive TT I took, wasnāt for me. The feeling wasnāt there, the teachers were phoning it in, completely bored with the curriculum and not very good at making themselves avalaible for questions.
Then I asked around (again), did my research until one of my teachers upstate NY told me what I needed to hear.
āIf you are serious about becoming a teacher go see .ā
And so I did.
It wasnāt easy for me to change careers, is it ever? But Iām so happy I did my training .
After I graduated, I went on to do yet another mat TT at a contemporary studio.
Then I understood that thereāre many ways to approach a Pilates Teacher Training Program.
Some better than others. And Iām not talking about different schools of Pilates. Iām so tired of that conversation.
For the record at CPTT we approach training from a classical background but give students tons of modifications and exercise break-downs in a way, that for all intended purposes, you graduate with a good understanding of the contemporary approach.
And thatās something I tell my apprentices.
It takes, time, effort, being able to deal with frustration, and endurance, lots of it. Until you get it. Sometimes you may have to start all over again.
So think about if this is what you REALLY want TO DO.
The satisfaction in the end is oh-so-worth it.
You will know once you get there.
Go on! Become a Pilates Teacher to see what Iām talking about.
Our next cicle starts May 3rd. in gorgeous San Lorenzo de El Escorial.

Swimming isnāt just about fluttering arms and legsāitās a breath-driven movement that builds lung capacity, core and endurance.

āØ3ļøā£ Creates Stability in Motion ā Proper breath control prevents collapsing into the lower back and keeps your body lifted.
Safe Practice Tips:

The Hip Twist is often overlooked, but skipping it means missing out on essential spinal rotation, and hip control.
This powerhouse move fires up your obliques, deep abdominals, and hip flexors, all while challenging shoulder stability.
its a building block of the classical order that builds strength and stability for Swimming, Leg Pull, and Boomerang.
Am I forgetting any other?
