He has a USCG Master Captains License and is licensed to carry up to 6 passengers on his fishing charters. Floating Time Charters is Family Friendly! Captain John works especially well with families, children and first timers. He will work hard to ensure that you and your family have a great time fishing! Captain John specializes in inshore fishing charters. Captain John targets the best backcountry fishing grounds in the Daytona Beach area including the Halifax River basin, the Intracoastal Waterway and the rich wetlands near Ponce Inlet and New Smyrna Beach. Captain John goes where the fish are including shallow creeks and flats where deep draft boats cannot go. Some of the best inshore fishing around Daytona Beach such as Spruce Creek and New Smyrna Creek are just off the Halifax River and the Intracoastal Waterway. These creeks offer great fishing for species such as redfish and snook but cannot be reached in deep draft boats. To reach all the best fishing spots on his inshore charters, Captain John uses a 22 foot skiff powered by a 175 HP Suzuki outboard. You will get to the best fishing spots fast! Offshore and Nearshore Fishing Charters are also available! Captain John also has a 28 foot Mako center console fishing boat available for nearshore and offshore fishing trips. The boat will comfortably carry up to 6 anglers.
