West Pasco Little League

PSA: WPLL understands the issues with parking. That concern is a concern of Pasco County Parks & Recreation Natural Resource Department as well. They are very aware of the overflow issues. In the interim a deal is in place to provide some additional parking space (except on Wednesday nights) at the church lots across the street! WPLL does recommend, if parking in lot D, to have phone charged and/or flashlight for the walk. Parking in lot B & C are also easier with that flashlight in hand. Please cross at the crosswalk with lights flashing to alert drivers. Dropping off (making your vehicle passable) players with family/guardian at drop off is also encouraged and welcomed.

Individual & team photos are set for this weekend (Friday, October 24th & Saturday, October 25th). Posting went up in the communication board at the field two weeks ago and your HC's have access to the schedule. It should be listed in your GC or you can ask your team HC.

Please arrive before your teams scheduled picture time to ensure families have time to place orders and the team is prepared to go in to get their photographs in uniform number order, typically. Thank you!

The fields are currently under a weather delay. Depending on the length and amount of rain all games will be delayed or postponed. Your teams HC's will update you as information becomes available. Thank you in advance for your patience in awaiting further communication.

Good morning West Pasco!! Opening Ceremony Day!!!

Please drop off all players (those with early games with equipment) ans passengers along Pine Hill Road. Do not cross Pine Hill if on the north end unless at the cross walk across from the field. Arrive early and remove stress!

Please check with your head coach for your teams shuttle plans. The main parking lot will be closed. No parking along Pine Hill Road. Please ensure to arrive early to leave time to shuttle, be shuttled, or walk from your parking spot to the field. The parking lot will have approximately 20 handicap spots available at a first come, first serve basis. Once full (have shuttle car spots reserved) all others will need to find local safe nearby parking. We will have some golf carts and parking attendees helping with directions. Let's have a great Opening Ceremony.

Please bring your own pop up chairs for those who would like to sit through the Opening Ceremony. The parade of players and the brief remarks should take approximately one hour.

Yes, we have returned to a new park but that doesn't mean it is 100% ready to go, yet. This clean up day is a great way to come out for a couple hours, starting at 8 AM, to get involved. This specific clean up is a great way to say thank you to our team at PCPRNR who work tirelessly for your kids and the WPLL program. Come on out at 8 AM or later. Leave when needed. Items you are welcome to bring are: gardening gloves, garden trimming tools, edgers (prefer gas or battery), blowers (prefer gas or battery), empty bucket (discarding weeds), and a lot of energy. We look forward to seeing all there in the AM who can attend. Thank you!

Baseball fields closed this morning through at least the 11 AM to 1 PM practices. Will assess again later today for the 3 PM practices. Your head coaches will advise your team as soon as possible.

Fields closed. The cages will be open to all teams who had field practice scheduled today.

The playing fields will be closed again today. However, your head coach will let their respective team know if they plan to hold a batting cage session. In doing so the team is able to meet and get that first practice out of the way. Hopefully the wet weather dissipates some over the coming days. Please check in with your HC with any team inquiries. The playing fields are closed tonight due to the rain that has fallen and what is still expected. Absolutely no use of the playing fields tonight. However, if the weather is cooperating later your head coach will let you know if your team will be holding a cage practice to get started.

Welcome home West Pasco LL!! Today the full schedule of team practices begin back home at Pine Hill Park, home of West Pasco LL.

We know the families of West Pasco will be enjoying their walk around the park as they see the amazing transformation. Yes, it was a long road to get here but Pine Hill is now back to being West Pasco LL's HOME!

We would like to thank our Pasco County Commissioners, the team at Pasco County Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources, the team at Pasco County Facilities, the construction crews that have had a hand in rebuilding Pine Hill Park from top to bottom during each phase, and every volunteer at WPLL who spent time making this possible for the families of West Pasco LL. Over the coming weeks your staff from PCPRNR and the volunteers from WPLL will continue personalizing the park but with the season upon us it is time West Pasco families return home! As they say... its time to Play Ball!!
