Wednesday Warriors Bowling

Has anyone had artificial turf installed? Or know of someone that has?
Looking for feedback from people I know instead of strangers on FB.

Great 1st night for Summer League! Lots of new faces so please welcome them! Many regulars are also bowling with new teammates which is awesome! We have openings on 2 teams AND can create team 20 so if you know anyone that wants to join us… lmk!

Good morning Wednesday night bowlers! This is Nicole, your VP! Congrats to everyone! We had such a huge group of bowlers with hardly any issues, and I just wanted to say that it was great season and thank you!
On another note, if you remember early in the first half we had a bowler, PJ Heslin who was in a serious car accident. I wanted to let you know he is doing SO much better, he can walk short distances with a cane, does all his own hygiene stuff himself and his voice is just about back to where it was before the accident. His right side is still giving him a bit of trouble, but he’s improving everyday! He was thankful for the cards we sent , but has a difficult time remembering us by name, but I’m sure a picture would help his memory! His sister said he is the happiest she’s seen him in a very long time, and she will be at the alley about 8:30-9 pm tonight, to collect his winnings. I will share the pictures she shared with me, and if you look at the one where there is a “Happy birthday” banner on the wall, you will see his gift in the table is a yard bowling game! That just made me smile 😃

You’ve been asking for tournaments and we’re trying to accommodate! Mark your calendars for next Sunday, June 7. There will be a doubles tournament with check-in at 10 AM and bowling at 11. This tournament is normally held at South but will be at NORTH and we will introduce a new format! 3 handicap games, 2 Baker format and 2 Scotch Dbls. Really sounds like a lot of fun. A strong turnout will help get more tournaments in the future. Knowing North and our league, I know a bunch of you will show up. Come and represent! 🎳

Just a reminder that Wednesday will be payouts as well as a potluck. The league will be providing wings and potato salad and everyone else is bringing whatever they signed up for. (See below).
Once we get through payouts for the Fall, we will be having a meeting for Summer which starts the following week on June 3rd.
If you have not signed up for summer and would like to bowl, please let me know as soon as possible. I believe we currently have 19 teams. Would love to see it get to 20 or 22 teams.
