It’s funny- 9 years ago today I bought the dance studio from the original angel who opened Emerald Dance, Nicole O'Quinn. It was my baby; it took so much of my love and effort!
Today, I have a new baby that will receive my love and effort. Baby Jack made his way into the world this morning and has stolen our hearts!
Though we are still recovering from the hurricane, there are plans to bring back the dance studio in the near future. I hope to see everyone soon as we can make visits from Nashville!

DANCING THROUGH THE DEBRIS: Port St. Joe dancers are continuing their passion even after Hurricane Michael damaged their old studio. These are mirrors from different homes damaged in the storm.

This is what hard work looks like. These are the young ladies that fought to keep their competition team, even after a hurricane took their studio. This is a group of friends, teammates, sisters. What an amazing group of beautiful girls that I had the privilege to work with.
Today’s schedule didn’t allow for many pictures but it did force many tears. I’m saying goodbye (and good luck!) to some great seniors and watching some young dancers really come into their talent. We were knocked down but we came up winning! I’m incredibly proud of my team and all the parents and Ms Macy for making this year happen. My heart is so full ❤️❤️❤️
