Spring breakers!

2025 went out with a bang as and absolutely slayed the bigguns with 32 bulls on fly with non stop action. Cole and Hanna then had some serious fireworks of their own to start the new year off right with similar action and lots of piggies to the boat today! Happy New Year everybody! I still have some January dates available if anyone wants in on the best winter flyfishing around!

Bundle up and catch em up! January can be one of the best months of the year for catching big fish down in the Louisiana marsh! And though it can be chilly down in the delta, it’s most likely warmer than where you are… and there are monsters lurking in these waters as these past January catches show! Ran a half marathon this morning and messed around and won my age group💪🏃‍➡️🤷‍♂️. Averaged 8:08 per mile and finished in 1:46:32. Not bad for an old fella😂 Plus I needed to burn off that Thanksgiving dinner!

Red snakes and Red fish! Had a stowaway I discovered at the ramp this morning. He wouldn’t cooperate and let me get him out so he rode along on his first Redfish trip.

Grey morning monsters for Matt and Kevin💪

Brutally cold, brutally windy and one brute of a Redfish for Kevin!💪. And a couple of other pop sickles we plucked out of the freezer.

Katie and Rob both putting their personal best Redfish in the boat on the last day of some epic Louisiana fly fishing! And not to be outdone, Katie scores a 41.5 pounder just minutes after Rob was sure he had sealed the deal with a beautiful 30 plus pounder. Rob has accepted the reality that he will not out fish Katie! Such a fun three days! Until next time!
