Reminder to just show up and not think about it!
I was feeling very tired and low on energy today. But I came anyway and once I started my workout I felt stronger than ever.
Had a pretty heavy workout that I definitely was not expecting to have today 🥹

Happy 🍟Day!!
Fridays are usually full legdays for me; however, I switched my workout plan on Wednesday and have been extremely sore since then.
Therefore today, I respected my body and it’s soreness and trained shoulders and triceps instead.
Even though your workout program says legs 2 or 3 times a week, it doesn’t mean you should follow it to a T.
If you’re still sore from a previous muscle group you trained, you will benefit more from “resting” and not training it again.
Our muscles grow during rest; therefore, if you keep pushing and training the muscle group that hasn’t had time to rest and recover, you might actually start to lose muscle instead of growing them do to overwork and overtraining.
In other words, LISTEN TO YOUR BODY.
