PSLSS Board Todd Walker presented $500 donation to Elks Lodge

Port St Lucie Senior Softball League Would like to wish everyone a Happy and Safe 4th of July.

The Port St Lucie Sr Softball League made a donation to the American Legion Post 318 to help military veterans and families in our area. The check was presented to Anthony Saffioti, S.O.L. Squadron Commander, and Paul Furtado, Post Commander.

And we now can put a bow on the season as we have completed our 2025 Championship Tournament and that winner is Roma’s! Yes they won both the regular season championship in addition to the Tournament. Congratulations guys on a job well done! Also congratulations are in order for the season that the Elm St. Cafe had, bravo Bob Sciacco and all your players!

On another note this will most likely be my last posting as my duration on the Board has come to an end. It truly has been a pleasure serving on the Board for in excess of 10-years and the time has come to pass the baton. Thank you all for the kind words and support over the years.

After what was the most competitive season in recent history, the winner of the 2025 regular season is team Roma’s which was led by rookie Manager Tony Hunt. Congratulation’s and now on to the Tournament Championship as the number 1 seed.

The PSL Senior Softball League (50 years+) is currently recruiting new players to come and join us this season. Our regular season runs from January through March concluding with our championship playoffs. During the season we play on Monday and Thursday’s ( 2 seven inning games both days). Games start at 9AM and are played at SandHill Crane Park (East on Walton Rd.). While we are a competitive league we recognize none of us are getting paid to play and that the real reward is competing and then sharing a few laughs with “friends”!

So come on out and join the Treasure Coasts premier league now as we have tryouts/pick-up games every Monday and Thursday at 9AM.

Ahhh, the perils of being the same age as older people…SUCKS! My wife Rose is currently in surgery having a complete hip replacement. Unfortunately, she fractured it yesterday after a fall. If there is anyone who has always maintained a healthy lifestyle it is her!!
