A new opportunity began for me this week. This time as the Minor League Rehabilitation Performance Intern with The New York Mets!

🍑The Front Foot Elevated Reverse Lunge🍑

Many times we see the rear foot elevated split squat, which is another great lunge variation, but here’s why we like this one too.

1️⃣ Increased knee flexion compared to a traditional reverse lunge = greater 🍑 work
2️⃣ For those dealing with knee pain, taking a larger step back will reduce the compressive forces on the front knee
3️⃣ Step Height Variation. You can easily adjust the height of these steps to make the exercise more or less challenging.



Give 3 sets of 6 per side a try and let us know how it goes!

Have bad balance? Struggle with positioning during your single Leg deadlifts? These kettlebell transfers are for you!

Stand on one leg and get into your hinge position. From here, transfer the kettlebell from 🖐 to 🖐 . This will change your balance demands as the weight moves from side to side.

Give it a try and see if you can perform this for 30 seconds per side!
