That recent sports ad has sparked a bigger conversation about how we talk about women - and honestly, women don’t need to go backwards.
We don’t need to go back to a time when a woman’s body was the most interesting thing about her. We don’t need to teach girls that being desirable is the goal, that smaller is better, or that their bodies exist to be looked at.
We can teach them something better.
Teach confidence.
Teach movement as something FUN.
Teach proper nutrition + fueling.
Teach discipline without obsession.
Teach them to celebrate what their bodies can DO.
Because our daughters deserve to grow up seeing women celebrated for their strength, their athleticism, their confidence, their character, and everything they’re capable of - not just how they look.
We’re not going backwards. We’re building stronger women. 🤍
