At this time, there still will be an adult class at 6 p.m.

10 year old Dmitri only started Kendo in August, but has been Koyokai’s most regular class attendee and has brought a new joy and energy to our club. It is no surprise that his performance for a Kendo Tournament debut exceeded expectations.

All United States Kendo Federation Junior Nationals 4/11/26 in Huntington Beach California. It is with great pride that Koyokai Kendo at Southside Dojo announces that Taichi Matsuura has won the Boys 16~18 National Championship. A huge accomplishment at a very competitive event. Thank you all for your support.

Matt MacLaren made quarterfinals in Mudansha and thank you for Vlad Trusevich who almost eliminated the eventual 4th Dan and Up winner.

Boys 16~18 2nd Place and Boys Team 1st Place (with two boys from Seikenkai Atlanta). Great event. Very competitive.

Meet Johnny (9) and Dmitri (9). Our latest additions to Koyokai Kendo. We are developing exciting new youth programs. Johnny has been attending for several months and recently entered his first tournament. Dmitri started in August and just started to wear armor. Koyokai welcomes all ages and is hoping to have a Kids’ class soon.
