Last weekend, Master Rick, Master Caitlin, and Kyosanim Stephanie attended a US Gongkwon Yusul Seminar in Columbus, Ohio. It was an exceptional opportunity to train with the creator of Gongkwon Yusul, Master Kang, as well as many phenomenal instructors from around the globe. Master Caitlin also received her instructors certificate. Thank you to Master Laura Clements for hosting. Hoshin!

Reminder, Master Mike's surprise retirement party will be today starting at 5pm. It will be a combo of indoors and outdoors, so feel free to bring lawn chairs! A dish to pass is welcome- strict no nuts policy.

Congratulations to Stephanie for earning her brown belt in Gongkwon Yusul last week! Despite her injury, she did an exceptional job of demonstrating proper techniques. Hoshin!

At Walker's, our instructors strive to better themselves for our students. Congratulations to Kyosanim Taylor for her many golds at the Ohio Adidas Tournament and Kyosanim Austin and Master Caitlin for earning bronzes at the Pan-American International Games!

Reminder that we are CLOSED today, Friday, May 15th and tomorrow, Saturday, May 16th as many of our instructors are at tournaments this weekend. Enjoy the sunshine tonight before it rains over the weekend!

Unfortunately, Master Mike informed me that he will no longer be able to attend his retirement party on Sunday, May 31st due to unforeseen circumstances. Though we are devastated by this news, we are so grateful to everyone who helped with organizing, setting up, and volunteering for this event.

Instead we have decided to reschedule his party! Mike's last day at Walker's will be on Thursday, May 28th. All classes this day will be CANCELLED. Instead, we will host his party at Walker's starting at 5pm. We will still have food catered. Appetizers and desserts are welcome (strict no nuts policy). Though smaller, we are hoping this will be a nice send off before he enjoys retirement.

Of note, this party is a complete surprise to him. Please do not mention this to him. We are hoping the weather will be nice and we can open up the back with tables and chairs. Feel free to bring lawn chairs. You are welcome stop by anytime, though I anticipate Mike will 'irish goodbye' by 6pm.

Very proud of Ella, Austin, and Master Caitlin who competed at the AAU Indiana State Tournament yesterday. A small but mighty team! Their performances, spirit, and teamwork were exceptional. Special thank you to our coaches, Master James and Taylor!
