Only a 4 days ride stands between us and our final destination, Portland, Maine! Riding through a hurricane today, wish us luck!

In the meantime here are some shots from the past few days while passing through the state of New York.
We visited the University of Rochester, John’s Alma Mater, where we met up with 4 of his closest lifelong friends Dogs and Robin Vavrina, and Brad and Sharon Townsend. In two days we will be with another of his dearest friends, Mike Brown.
Currently we have pedaled 3,504 miles and are closing in on the final week of riding!

Additional thanks to Charolette and Emily who have been pedaling along side of us over the course of the trip. It’s been a pleasure meeting them both.
Today we are taking the high speed ferry across Lake Michigan where we will enter the eastern time zone and begin the final 1/3 of the trek.
Time to bring ‘er on home!
