The Freeland Tennis Association began in 2019 in response to neglect of our courts by PDX Parks and Rec. We continue to gather and serve the interests of the Portland tennis community.

Last fall, The Freeland Tennis Association was instrumental in getting lights ON at Irving Park after serious neglect by Portland Parks and Rec. It took many phone calls and a lot of community hounding. Not only did the agency create a dead zone for tennis players, but an unsafe area for early sunset.
We are proud to once again be championing open, safe parks in lieu of COVID closures state wide. Join us!
