At the end of May, staff and dozens of volunteers helped rearrange our Eastside location! Thank you to everyone who showed up and contributed, including the many not featured in the photos.

Now, we have more room for classes, a better flow for open gym and a space that overall makes more sense. We are still nudging around some pieces, organizing our accessories and seeing what need improvement. However, we are so happy with the changes and have heard immense positive feedback from the community.

Happy we were able to get Dos Hermanos Bakery pasteries, Portland Coffee Roasters coffee and Ranch Pizza pizza for our volunteers! Local supporting local every day 🫶💪

On Friday June 5, the Eastside location will be closed from 5-6:30 p.m. except for attendees of Body + Soul’s Black Affinity Lifting Clinic.

While we are super excited to extend the hours of our space and keep access for folks, it’s also super important to create a safe environment for affinity events, especially for groups historically marginalized within fitness spaces.

During this time, please feel free to work out at our Sellwood location. We will not be holding evening classes. Thank you for your understanding

Today is the Big Move at Eastside! All day, we will be reorganizing equipment with the help of volunteers. Thank you to everyone who signed up to assist!

If you’d like to work out today, we recommend going to the Sellwood location since the Eastside facility cannot accommodate folks during equipment shifting.

Still want to help? Stop by anytime before 6 pm to assist! Coffee and pastries available in the morning, pizza in the afternoon/evening. Unis par la force!

Reminder! UAC is shifting to 24/7 access starting June 1 (door lock date). Please pick up your fob ahead of time, or schedule an appointment to pick one up. Appointment system dropping tomorrow!

ANNOUNCING OUR NEXT STAGE

Dear members,

We have some really exciting news to take UAC to the next level! We have heard you asking for more hours in the mornings, evenings and weekends. You might have seen new hardware by our doors and other changes in our facilities. All of this is culminating into UAC 24/7!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
•Starting June 1, we will be a 24/7 access facility
•Our set front desk hours will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 to 6 p.m. every day
•We will start assigning key fobs on Thursday, May 21 at both locations!
•We have some updated agreements to keep the community safe that you will need to sign before getting your key fob assigned

Our staff, quality of services and equipment are all staying the same. We are just giving you more UAC! Stop by one of our locations starting this Thursday to pick up your fob! We will send you a reminder or two since doors will LOCK on June 1. We appreciate your patience as we navigate this change! Thank you for supporting us, and as always UNIS PAR LA FORCE!
