Four years ago, on a cold and rainy day in November, a few thousand Mainers turned Monument Square into a watch party worthy of the World Cup. This Friday, we’re running it back for a USA & Hearts double header 🇺🇸♥️

Our second FREE watch party starts at 2pm when the beer garden opens. Catch the USMNT vs Australia at 3pm, and stick around for Hearts vs Westchester, kicking off at 7pm. Exclusive merch, food trucks, performances by The Valentine Band, and a soccer party worthy of Portland. All made possible in partnership with Bank of America & Portland Downtown.

Introducing the first Hearts of Pine Soccer Camp 🫶

Designed for boys and girls ages 10–14 and led by Hearts of Pine coaching staff, this camp emphasizes creativity, teamwork, and growing campers' love for soccer.

The camp will run from Monday, August 10, to Friday, August 14, and campers will get opportunities to meet Hearts players, attend a training session, and get an exclusive camp t-shirt. Camp programming Monday through Thursday will run from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM, and on Friday from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

The home of women's soccer in Maine is here, at Fitzy Park ♥️

Last night, Portland City Council approved the priority selection of 8 additional dates at Fitzpatrick Stadium, clearing the way for USLW Maine to play its home matches right here in the heart of Portland. As the women’s game grows in Maine, we can't wait to bring more matchday magic to Fort Fitzy.

We just wrapped up our second year running the Portland Soccer Project, a free after-school program that uses soccer as a tool to help kids develop essential social, emotional, and leadership skills — from self-regulation and conflict resolution to teamwork, confidence, and joy.

Thanks to this community’s support of the Hearts of Pine Foundation, we’re thrilled to announce this after school programming will continue in the 26/27 school year at both East End Community School and Talbot Community School. As part of our partnership with MaineHealth and the SHAW Challenge, we’ll also be expanding the program to Biddeford Intermediate School and Wiscasset Elementary School 🫶
