Firefly Dance

“Good vs. Evil: The Takedown Tournament” closed out the camp season with a huge bang/high kick! Dancers explored Ballet, Contemporary, HipHop and Gymnastics while competing in a dance version of “field day” games- including human bowling! Firefly Dance weekly classes start 9/25 and are up for registration right now.. come to Ballet in your Halloween costume!

“Feminist Princess Camp (For Princes Too!)” was so hot we had to take it inside! Okay so that was actually the smoky skies, but our royalty had a blast dancing out “Paper Bag Princess” -dragon invoked wildfire omitted- as well as songs from Moana, Tiana, and by popular demand Maui! We all agreed with our Mirror Mirror Chant.. don’t judge us by our parts. The most important thing about us is our HEART!

That’s a wrap on Recitals for the year! A huge “Congratulations” to the performers and “Thank You” the families who support them🫶 Summer Classes start June 20th with an emphasis on dancing out emotions and colors🩷❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜 Come boogie with us!

“The Nuttiest Nutcracker” was a huge success, with dancers learning choreography, dancing out a story, creating wearable crafts and performing to a super supportive audience! Did you hear about the surprise snow storm in Alberta Park this August?! 😉 As part of our “Frigid” camp, dancers solved a mystery by connecting hidden clues, using dancing and chanting to unite the elements, save the park, and culminating with a visit from The Ice Queen herself ❄️ 👑 Good times and pointed toes were had by all!
