I remember one of my mentors favorite quotes was from Shakespeare (The Tempest): “What is past is prologue.”
I was sorting through some items in storage and found an award I received from the US Army during my time as a DoD civilian employee. It was one of the most fun environments to be in (and also intense). From creating and leading workouts, closing up the gym in the evening, being present during the opening of the obstacle course on base, and getting some incredibly intense workouts with the team and service members, this was a position that molded me and will forever be with me.
What you do today will soon become your past, and it will direct your path for the future.
Take care of your bodies, treat yourself well, and train hard in whatever you do and your future will be bright.

Tennis has always been a big part of my life, and so I am honored to have been working as a USPTA Pro for 10 years (technically 11, but this just came in the mail).
Tennis was the sport that helped me lose weight when I was overweight as a child. Tennis was the activity that helped me work through the death of two of my friends in high school. Tennis was the sport that helped me fall in love with strength and conditioning at the college level.
No matter what sport or activity you pursue, I hope you all keep struggling to get better at it. Even though it is hard to see in the moment and in the struggle, you become a more resilient person having struggled to better yourself.
Take care my friends!!

Small Breakfast: Egg White Scramble
Ingredients: egg whites, shredded cheddar cheese, baby peppers, and cherry tomatoes. I used butter to sauté the peppers first.
Nutrition: 226 kcal, 29g protein, 10g carbs, 6g fat
It took me about 45 seconds to log that information.
At RSC, we ask clients to share with us a food log to make sure they are appropriately fueling their body so that they can reach their goals. We work on strategies to make logging food easier and also educate the client on healthier food choices.
Take care my friends!
