Tuesday the Merchants take on Corvallis at 1pm at the University of Portland. Winner survives another day and loser will go home.

Day 3 AAA Legion State Tournament at University of Portland:
Hillsdale Merchants(2-0) vs Portland Barbers(2-0) at 7pm.

The Merchants advance in the American Legion State Tournament defeating the Medford Mustangs 6-4. Monday they will take on the winner of the game between the Corvallis Marketmen and the Portland Barbers. 7pm at University of Portland.

Merchants take on Roseburg at University of Portland on day one of the 2025 AAA American Legion State tournament, Saturday morning at 10am.

The Merchants first visit to the Papa’s PIzza tournament at Swede Johnson stadium in Eugene provided a great experience. With one win, one loss and two ties, the Merchants finished as the 3rd seed in their pool and matched up with Corvallis in the 5th place game. Offensive standouts for the Merchants were Jackson Poole who was 8/16 with five stolen bases, Carter Lam with six runs, Garrett Schmokel with six RBI. Owen Eggert had a four hit game vs Eagle River. Brady Windham only allowed one earned run vs Mid-Valley and Alex Dexter had six k’s in five innings vs the tournament champs Eugene Challengers.

The Merchants ended up 3-1 at the Mickey Riley Star Spangled Tourney behind a solid 6 innings performance on the mound from Riley Brock and a perfect 7th from Jack Searcy. The offense was led by Logan Morris and Brady Windham who both had two hits, Brady with an RBI and two runs, Logan with two RBI. It was a great time.

The Merchants ended up in a three way tie in pool play but got the short end of the tie-breaker and play the Mid-Coast Dungies in the 5th place game at 1pm.
