The authorities were alerted to the situation following reports of a female screaming for help on Sunday morning. However, by the time officers reached the apartment complex, the suspect responsible for the disturbance had already fled the scene. Police have since confirmed Brings Plenty as the suspect involved in this particular case and have stated that they possess probable cause for his arrest.

Concerns have been raised by family members of Brings Plenty who stated that they had not been in contact with him since Easter, highlighting that it is unusual for him to go without communication. As a result, he has been reported as a missing person. Notably, Brings Plenty is the nephew of actor Mo Brings Plenty from "Yellowstone" with fellow "Yellowstone" actor Cole Hauser also leveraging social media to spread awareness about Brings Plenty's disappearance.
