Aquatic Sports and Scuba Schools Aquatic Sports was established in 1966 to bring the highest quality instruction & gear to the PNW. Be sure to check out all of the great services we offer.

Aquatic Sports is Portland’s oldest and largest full service diving center and we are the only shop in Portland with an indoor heated pool for customers to easily test out gear and practice skills! This year we celebrate our 51st Anniversary since opening in 1966! Let’s go diving!

Clear Lake two-tank dive was the cherry on top of our night dives the previous night. We had more divers join us, and the dive team had a blast. Some broke in their new custom drysuits for the first time (come get yours at Aquatic Sports), Brian and Shelby had an underwater scooter race (Brian won) and we all gained more experience underwater! Join us next year for another great weekend of diving 🤙🏼

Up next: we have some divers going to Sund Rock Marine preserve on 10/4, and we have Campbell River Canada 10/17-10/18 diving Discovery Passage, Roatan 10/17-10/24, and then Edmunds Underwater Park 10/25

We do the Clear Lake dive every year, but this year we decided to throw in a night dive! We had a blast. Shelby tested out our new custom backplate and wing systems with the integrated bladder✨ lights ✨ which was incredible. We certified a couple night and altitude divers, and made some cool memories.

Share an inspirational evening of healing and friendship at Cinema 21 for the Portland premiere of The Last Dive, with Oregon- based, Emmy-winning director Cody Sheehy.

Terry Kennedy's life was transformed by an unlikely friendship with W***y, a 22-foot manta ray who'd slap his wings against Kennedy's sailboat to signal their next dive. Now in his 80s, Kennedy journeys to a remote island hoping to find W***y again, and to find peace, closure, and a chance to say goodbye. Winner of Best Cinematography at Tribeca Film Festival.
