c in three well known bike stores and was service manager at one store for 13 years. I work neutral service at national and local races including Cascade Cycling Classic, Mt Hood Stage Race and Elkhorn. I have been mechanic for professional cycling teams in charge of maintaining team vehicles, bikes, parts inventory, getting it all to the race on time in top condition and then riding in the team car with spare wheels, bikes and water. I have worked most NRC races all over the United States including "Philly week", San Francisco Grand Prix, Sea Otter and one time, even Vuelta Cyclista El Salvador. I have assembled, washed and tuned bikes in host garages, back alleys, hotel parking lots and on the street out the back of the team truck in good weather and bad. I have even made adjustments leaning out the window of a car at 25 mph on a gravel road. I have worked in wholesale, retail and on the road with the pros.
