It’s a challenging time for all of us.
For most of us, the pandemic has upended our entire lives: Important projects have halted, we've lost jobs, canceled momentous trips, gone weeks (and counting) without sharing that much time with our family and friends.
It's natural to feel like your life is spiraling out of control, and it's OK to feel anxious about the future (just don't spend too much time in that space).
If you've lost track of what day of the week it is or can't remember the last time you changed out of your sweats, fret not. Just look at this diagram and remind yourself of all the things you can’t and CAN control.
Goodluck! 💛

Happy Holidays from Luna and me!
Luna is feeling more like herself today! She had surgery on Dec. 23 to remove a growth the size of an egg off her bum. It's been a rough few days, but she's turned a corner and is looking much like her usual self. We wish everyone the best in the New Year!

Womb Yoga is being offered by Maddie Adams in January. Sounds wonderful—read more here!
This is me, at just about 8 months pregnant. I thought I was super prepared and fit, ready for the marathon of childbirth and the recovery after, but I had no idea what I was in for. I was lucky to have no complications in my pregnancy or birth, but even so, I was not prepared for the massive amount of healing that would be required for me to fully recover.
Almost 4 years later, I find myself at the other end of a deep rabbit hole that exposed to me how neglected women’s postpartum recovery and health can be in the current medical system, and how many women never get the resources and care to heal fully from their birth experiences.
It is for this reason that I am launching Womb Yoga in January! This class combines my 4 years of postpartum experience, research, and focused practice with 17 years of experience in yoga to offer a yoga class to honor and support the female body through all its cycles, seasons and stages. And to provide a healing space for women of any age to reconnect with their own bodies. It’s never too late for postpartum healing, and never too late to take time to come home to yourself. Class starts 1/9, 10:15-11:45am on Zoom. For more info, check out:

I will miss this beautiful light. I only studied with her a few times, but those times were rich, and I felt so very held and supported in her care.
Our beloved community, we are deeply saddened to share that Rama Jyothi Vernon , one of YJ’s co-founders, has passed from our world.
🌿
We tenderly leave our appreciation of Rama with more of her own words. In a message to yoga teachers, she wrote: “Transcend environmental obstacles. View them as a test of the Divine, Within the cosmic plan there is a reason for each and every opening of life’s pathways. If you are led to the path of a teacher, then let go and let Divine will work through you; the barriers to spiritual expansion will drop away. Place your heart and soual within the teachings. Teaching yoga is not a business, not even a profession. It is a privilege and a blessing.” (Yoga: The Practice of Myth & Sacred Geometry, Vernon, 2014).
🌿
We will remember her devotion to helping people around the world, and her beautiful teachings, such as the inspiring tutorial on the sacred symbol Om. https://www.yogajournal.com/videos/sound-om-demonstrated
