It’s our teacher appreciation week here at the studio because it’s ! DaturaCon is the annual teacher convention, where graduates come together to practice technique, vocabulary, choreography, group improvisation, and so much more.

Teachers get a chance to ask all the questions and showcase what they’ve been working on as soloists and teachers through teacher-led classes.

We have two shows at DaturaCon: the first is a live music Golden Era inspired Raqs Sharqi supper club featuring local musicians Takht Tabor . The second show is for the teachers to share their own choreographies and group pieces to recorded music.

It is amazing to have teachers here at the studio and we love seeing all their hard work and love for each other! 💕
