Miles in Chiles - Indoor Track Series

Miles in the Chiles is back!

We are able to host one all-comer's meet this year on Wednesday, February 1.

REGISTRATION: In person only, from 6-6:45 PM in the Chiles Center Lobby
ENTRY FEE: $5 CASH. One entry per athlete only.
EVENT SCHEDULE: We will start at 7 PM, or as soon as meet personnel have made the heats.

MILE (Women, then Men)
800m (Women, then Men)
400m (Women, then Men)

RESULTS: All results will be hand timed. They will be posted at the finish line on the wall after completion of the race.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to the recent wave of the pandemic, we are sad to have to cancel the Miles in the Chiles series once again this year. We are grateful to all of you who have participated in the past, and look forward to welcoming you back in early 2023. Stay safe and happy new year!

Special shout out to Jeanne, Aurelia, and Allison, our first ever grandma-mother-daughter heat in series history. Three generations all in one race!

Thank you to all who came out for our first of two Miles in the Chiles nights! Here are pictures of the raw results (apologies for any misspellings on names!). We will post an excel version in the next few days as well. Hope to see you again next week, where we will run the 400, 800, and mile!

We are excited to finally announce that Miles in the Chiles is back for 2020! We appreciate your patience as we worked through some facility scheduling hurdles to get these on the calendar. Here are the dates for our all comers meets this year:

Mon. Feb 3: 200m, 800m, Mile
Mon. Feb 10: 400m, 800m, Mile

Each night, registration will begin at 6:00 PM at the main entrance of the Chiles Center, and close promptly at 6:40 PM so we can arrange the heats.

Meet Entry is $5 for ONE event. Cash only please!

The track will be open at 6:00 PM for warm ups.

First race will be at 7 PM, and we will roll the schedule from there. All races will be hand timed, and results will be posted on the wall at the meet, and afterwards on this page.
