The best way to relieve stress and anxiety?

Allow yourself to feel what you're feeling in your body, without interpretation.

As your mind comes in and tries to tell you that something feels painful or bad, or tries to distract you with thoughts about the past or future, just keep bringing your attention back to the sensations in your body.

If your body wants to move, shake, twist, stretch, kick, or you spontaneously feel like making a noise or find yourself wanting to cry, let yourself.

If you're in a place where you can't do that, find a quiet private moment later when you can.

Your body already knows what it needs to do in order to heal, sometimes you just need to get out of the way and let it.

The mind only knows what it has experienced, but your experience is extremely limited in the grand scheme of things.

Emotions are like a river of energy that flows through your body.

When you push against the flow by avoiding your emotions, it's like you're building a dam inside of yourself and the pressure gets stronger.

In order to heal anxiety, you have to learn to feel safe feeling what you're feeling.

It can take time, and it's helpful to have a compassionate guide by your side to reassure you on this journey.
