Tonic Fabrication

As a lifelong procrastinator, ne’er do well and recent survivor of “short cut gone wrong” incident involving my body and the ground. It is no surprise that the has snuck up on me, in spite of my “best” efforts to prevent it from doing so.
4 weeks-ish out, currently running on 5 of 8 cylinders. 1 of 3 Made frames ready to go.

“The Goose” take 2. Round one was a little to tight in that one spot and a little too loose in the other. Which made me lose some sleep. So I made it more better. Fortunately the second time around it took half as long to form the stays and whittle out this crazy little bridge. And although there were sharpies lost, sparks made, slivers slivered and a bit of swearing. In the end, it is was a success .bike

This is the first bike I have built as a gift to a father and being that I am one, had one and know a few other cool ones. Made this an extra super special project. I introduce to you . The icing on this project will be the fit, the ride, the pump peg and of course the assorted custom anodized bits (stem, hubs and ISP seat tube) by .anodized.it Can’t wait to see this built up. Lots of fun details on Fosters “All kinds of Roads” bike. Drop bars, big tires and a front derailleur. Custom lil somethin somethin rack up front with a unintentional, yet very strong Van Halen vibe. As well as accommodations for not one but two headlights. Internal, flat, thru’d, asymmetric, soon to be painted and gracefully rolling up and down in the direction pointed for years to come.

Arbor press human powered slow motion super bender. Although not the prettiest tool I have ever built. 15+ years of “reliable” service make it pretty dope.

Big tires, maybe drop bars some of the time? Adventure seeking fun rocket for Drew. I suppose this one falls into the “High Planes Drifter” category.

Lack of social media motivation-Like most of you, the last couple of years have been extremely trying for me. I’ll spare you all the personal details.
