FLAG FOOTBALL CAMP! MGFF is putting together a week long summer camp. We will focus on catching, throwing, route running drills, agilities, conditioning, flag pulling and most importantly having FUN! We are also offering a full week dedicated to players interested in the QB position. Registration start May 31st. $5 deposit is due at registration, final balance due a week before camp.

When Zoe was invited to try a new fall sport 5 years ago with 6 other girls, I was a little surprised by her enthusiasm since she had never played or even thrown a football before. Flag football has now become her favorite sport and I couldn’t be more thankful for the MGFF program. Zoe is excited for every game and practice and has made so many great friends with the league growing so fast! I’m so proud of all the girls who have gone out of their comfort zone and tried something new now that there are more players like them.

I can’t thank Mony enough for all his hard work and dedication to make a place for all girls to come and learn the game of football. The MGFF coaches have always been so supportive and take the time to break down plays and explain the ideal outcome whether on defense or offense. Thank you to all who have volunteered time to this great program!

Our daughter (Kyleigh) started in sports in 3rd grade playing basketball... she played basket ball for a few years and before she started looking into other sports...she found softball, but still felt like she wanted something different and more challenging. That's when we decided to join MGFF last year and we are so happy we did. MGFF is so well organized and structured. Kyleigh is learning every time she steps out onto the field for practice or a game and she is having a blast! Mony has created a league that empowers girls.
Covid has been challenging for everyone, but our children have had to spend the last year in seclusion, at a time in their life where social interaction has the ability to shape their lives the most... this league isn't just about girls playing football... it's a league that builds confidence, one that builds friendships, and a place where families can gather safely to cheer for their team!!!

Our daughter first tried flag football as a third grader in a co-ed league. She had been watching her friend’s older sister play in the early days of the all-girls league and she was anxiously waiting for fourth grade, when she would be old enough to play. Maine Girls Flag Football did not disappoint. She has loved every minute of it, from practices to games to the team comradery. Initially, we were apprehensive about the age range, but that has actually been one of the best parts of the experience. Along with the coaches, the older girls have been instrumental in helping the younger players develop and teaching them the game. Finally, as a parent who is watching every week, the league is such a blast. The games are exciting, the players are engaged and working hard and I have seen my daughter develop as a player and as a teammate through Maine Girls Flag Football.
