SHOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR NEW TRAILS IN PORTLAND
Lets pack the house tonight with mountain bikers.
Metro is hosting a community meeting on Nov. 17. This is LAST community event to help shape the future of the North Tualatin Mountains Natural Area.
Metro will share the preferred alternative plan, which reflects community input, supports healthy habitats and offers a variety of opportunities to experience nature. Attend the meeting to learn about new amenities, such as trails, parking, and viewpoints. Most importantly, show up to provide input on Metro's plans for the area and how mountain biking should be included.
Spread the word and invite your riding buddies to attend
TIME: 6:30-8:30
DATE: Tuesday Nov 17th 2015
LOCATION: 11536 NW Skyline Blvd. Portland

We finished up the bridge in the midst of Deep Freeze 2013 (or whatever the local news channels are calling it)

Bridge No. 9 is complete! It was 14 degrees at the start of the day. Thanks to Vinay, Dave B, Dan N, Nick Hess, Howard, Miguel, Thomas, and Tom Scales for braving the cold temps and finishing up the bridge. Believe it or not, we had a blast. Finished the day off with a wine tasting at Apolloni Vineyards.

Bridge Replacement is tomorrow (Saturday). Meet at the Gales Creek Campground Trailhead at 9:00am.
Due to Ms. Amy's comment on the handrail (see picture comments), Roger extended the length of the bridge to 15'. I hope that means Amy (and Kenny) is coming out to help carry the 15' stringers.
Just kidding....about it being Amy's fault....it really is 15' now.
