2012 Oregon Dist 4 World Series Team RHLL / LLL (Beaverton/Portland)

Maddie’s memorial service will be on 12/12/12 at Village Baptist Church at 6 PM. As I’m sure most of you know, Maddie lost her battle with thyroid cancer more than two weeks ago. Maddie played tball all the way through to Majors with RHLL &. Maddie played both during the regular and post-season. 12/12/12 is a significant date as it would have been Maddie’s 15th birthday.

A great win over Canada Today. This gives us 9th place on the Tournament. We were in every game of the tournament and represented Oregon Dist 4 to the fullest. The TD pulled me aside today and said we played the best of the past D4 teams. We may not have placed high in the ranks, but we never gave up, and made every team play there best ball to beat us. I am very proud.

Tomorrow we will play at 9am vs Canada! The girls love the support!

This is Hannah, she brought a ball to Alpenrose Dairy at the Softball Little League World Series. She cheered us on during warm ups. Let hope Hannah can one day rep Oregon Dist 4 in the the Softball World Series! Thanks Hannah!
