Palace of Memory ~ Sound Journey
Sunday, September 6, 7:00 – 9:00pm
$20~30, sliding scale
J Morales and Tatiana Muzica have been performing music for Soma's Contact Improv Jams for the last 2 years and now they are branching out into a night of their own.
J is a percussionist playing both solo and within ensembles up and down the west coast for the past 40 years. He brings his collection of Exotic Percussion, Field Recordings and Homemade Instruments to conjure a litany of trance rhythms and textures for movement and meditation. He's spent a lifetime studying the folk music of the Caribbean, North/Central Africa, the Levant and West Asia. Tatiana has been crafting immersive sound journeys that blur the line between music, ritual, and dream in the PNW since 2012. Weaving together ethereal vocals, modular synthesis, mystical flutes, jaw harps, didgeridoo, and an array of world percussion - she creates expansive experimental ambient landscapes that invite deep listening and inner exploration.
Together they provide a Cinematic Soundscape for the mind's eye. Every performance is a unique sonic experience where time dissolves, the heart opens, and forgotten stories find their voice. Join them in an invitation to slow down, listen deeply, and remember our connection to the natural world. Discover a moment of peace as they provide a soundtrack for you to explore your own Palace of Memory.

Witchcraft for Therapists
September 5 - September 6, 2026
10:00 am - 4:30 pm Saturday and Sunday
IN PERSON on Kalapuya, Clackamas, and Tribes of Chinook Land (so-called Portland)
Base price is $275, sliding scale is $185-$385.
How is therapy like folk magic? Everyone can do the life-changing, world-renewing work of magic. You are not alone in longing for this. Your body remembers and in fact it is your birthright. Please join us.
In this circle of therapists, you will learn tools and cultural practices from the Reclaiming Tradition of Witchcraft. Invocation, spell work, energy raising, trancework, somatic, song, ritual, consensus decision making, circle casting, engaging your will, opening your witch’s eye, and magical transformation are just some of the tools you will explore. We will speak directly to the parts of your soul that long to make magic in this time, reminding you how. We will build community in affinity because the work of liberation is not the work of one person and because we need each other. We will remember, together, that this is folk magic and that what is needed in this work is simply your body, heart, will and intention. You will leave this class believing in yourself and SomaSpace.

Plant Wisdom Circle with Mugwort and Amy
Friday, August 14
6:00 – 8:00pm
$25~45, sliding scale
In this month's plant wisdom circle, we will work with the spirit of the Mugwort. A dreamy, caring, witchy medicine who stepped forward this month with a force. She told me clearly that she wanted to be the next plant we sat with. I'd been saving her for the Autumn season, but she said, "NOW." So, I listened. She must have a lot to say.
Together we will create a ceremonial space to journey with Mugwort's medicine. The group journeying space creates a strong container for the medicine of the plant to come through. This ancestral practice of deep intuitive listening and dreaming together is such a potent and important gift to the Earth and us.
