 I’m very happy to have “loaned” my Sasquatch target to the Big Wh***ey range. It will live here for the foreseeable future. According to my rangefinder, it sits 482 yards out from the firing line. Getting the strobe mounted up, took a little bit of screwing around. In the end, though, everything went together and works perfectly. A target has two swingers, one in the stomach and one in his brain. This is gonna be a good year! Here’s to good friends!

Sitting down to load am******on for the Big Wh***ey match! My last match of the year…

My shop and loading area are still a mess, but I’ve gotten really good news this week from the city and my permit issue is gonna be resolved and I’ll be able to move forward with building out the new shop starting when I get back. The new shop will be fully insulated with a 13’ x 25‘ reloading room and a 13’ x 25‘ stall for the Raptor. All of it fully finished to level 5 smooth wall with ample power outlets and workstations.

Things are finally starting to go my way! See you boys on the firing line!

I’m at the halfway point stocking sheet rock for the new recoil therapy reloading shop and garage. The shorter sheets that you see in the first picture are 10 foot 5/8 inch type X. The gray ones in the back are 12 foot impact boards, which is much heavier. I had to cut those down because I couldn’t pick up a whole 12 footer. Tough work for 59 year-old coot, but I’m doing pretty good! Starting to feel physically stronger again. That’s kind of weird considering that I’m getting older. Gotta have this trailer back by 6 o’clock tonight to avoid being charged for another day.

Many people never get to drive their dream vehicle. I’ve been very fortunate. I walked into a Ford dealership in Enumclaw, Washington and signed a contract on my dream vehicle June 24, 2016. The truck was four years old at that point and had 25,000 miles on it. At the time, there were only six Raptors for sale in the entire state of Washington. 

It’s my “forever truck”… My “ride or die”rig…  over the years, it’s taken some damage. It appeared in many videos on Recoil Therapy Channel. I made a decision to put it into the body shop and get the Blaster a bit of a facelift. Got these photos today from Sarah and Scott…

This truck will be appearing in many more videos and magazine articles over the years to come!

Spent the day with good friends Zack, Curtis, and Jim getting targets moved down to the staging shed for this week’s match. Our Airbnb is working out extremely nicely as well.
