Here's a fun fact: did you know that Maine and Massachusetts are the only two states that have an official nautical flag that's designed to be flown on your boat instead of the land flag featuring the state's seal?
We make both of them, and we sew them by hand right in New England. Visit www.maineflagcompany.com/shop/marine-ensigns to find out more!

Today we are happy to launch this exciting effort to bring back the "original" Massachusetts flag.
This simple design featuring a green pine tree on a blue shield flew on the reverse side of the Massachusetts flag until 1971. We think its timelessness and simplicity makes it a great flag design!
