The Steps School Ballet/Modern School Auditions for the 2026/27 season are set for Sunday, September 13 at our studio — 1734 SE 12th Ave, Portland!

📍 Ages 7–10: Arrive 3:00 PM | Audition 3:30–4:30 PM
📍 Ages 11–22: Arrive 4:00 PM | Audition 4:30–5:30 PM

Our core curriculum includes Ballet, Modern, Jazz Funk, Pointe & Variations, Composition & Improv, PBT & Conditioning, and Mentorship — building dancers from the ground up with a pathway toward pre-professional training.

Join us Sept 4–6 in Portland for an intensive built for dancers ready to take the next step toward a career in dance. Train in Ballet Technique, Pointe & Variations, Men’s Variations, Partnering, Modern/Contemporary, Composition & Improv, and PBT Conditioning.

What an unforgettable weekend.

This year’s BLOOM performances brought together months of dedication, creativity, growth, and artistry from our incredible dancers, faculty, and community. We are beyond grateful to have shared two SOLD OUT performances with all of you.

Without a doubt, this was one of the strongest and most memorable BLOOM productions we have ever presented. From the incredible performances on stage to the overwhelming support from our community, this year felt truly special. And while we are so proud of what we accomplished, we’re already dreaming bigger. Our goal is to continue growing, creating, and raising the bar each year so that every BLOOM is even better than the last.

To our dancers–thank you for your hard work, vulnerability, and commitment throughout the season. Watching you take the stage and share your artistry was an absolute joy.

To our families, volunteers, supporters, and audience members—thank you for showing up, cheering loudly, and helping make this event so special. Your support allows our dancers to thrive and our community to continue growing.
