Wishing everyone a Happy Healthy, and prosperous New Year!
Congratulations to the Maine Mariners Hockey and the PHPA on the signing of their new 5 year contract!
IATSE covers the broadcast and in house production for the Maine Mariners. We have 14 people working for any given game, cameras audio/music, nets, follow spots, and graphics etc.
We are glad that the agreement came quickly for the team, as well as our members. We were fortunate that there were only 2 games scheduled during the stoppage.
We are hoping for a quick ratification of the contract by the players so that they, and our workers can all get back to playing and producing professional hockey in Portland.
