I coach baseball at Parkrose and was called around 1pm notifying me of the incident and informed our final game of the season would be canceled (obviously) as a result. What a sad local editorial, no student should ever have to endure 🥺 KLo has been huge as a coach, mentor & now hero!
Thankfully no one was injured 🙏❤️🌎

Parkrose roughed up in conference opener.
Sleepy bats combined with errant plays and struggling pitching, Broncos fall 11-1 to the Scapposse Indians.
Next up: Roosevelt 4/2/19 at Parkrose field, game starts at 5pm (weather permitting)

Friday’s game was an example of hard work and a collective, team effort. Behind solid pitching (Soph. A. Pinto-Ruiz tossed 3 quality innings with Soph. T. Hardman pitching 2 innings of shutout baseball in relief. The Broncos bats were electric, combining for 11 hits and pushing 14 runs across, for a 14-4 victory over Benson Polytechnic, to even out the preseason schedule at 1 and 1...Thank you again, Bronco fanatics for traveling so well and supporting your Parkrose Bronco’s!
