We’re excited to announce that 33 athletes have already registered for the 2026 Battlehawks Summer Skills Camp!

Athletes entering grades 3-8 will spend three days learning position specific skills from former NFL quarterback Quinton Porter, Battlehawks coaches, and current/former collegiate athletes through station-based instruction focused on skill development, athletic performance, and competition in a non-contact environment.

It’s hard to believe the season is already over.

Over the past few months, we’ve watched these athletes grow not only as football players, but as teammates, leaders, and young men. The relationships they’ve built and the progress they’ve made have been incredible to watch.

Many of these boys lined up against each other in the fall. This spring, they came together as teammates, competed hard every day on the practice field, pushed each other to improve, and built friendships that will last far beyond a single season.

Now they return to their fall programs with new skills, greater confidence, and a higher standard for what football can look like. Every season, we believe that’s how we help raise the level of play across Southern Maine—one athlete, one team, and one community at a time.

We’re proud of what this group accomplished and grateful for every family that trusted us with their athlete’s development.

We can’t wait to see these boys back in a Battlehawks uniform next season, but for now, go back to your fall teams, lead by example, compete hard, and kick some butt.

What started as an idea has grown into a program that brought together athletes from across Southern Maine during our inaugural season.

Players from Sanford, Scarborough, Falmouth, S**o, Lebanon, Arundel, Biddeford, and dozens of other communities came together to compete, develop, and build something special.

From our youngest players in 9U to our oldest athletes in 14U, every team helped establish the foundation of what the Casco Bay Battlehawks will become.

Thank you to our players, families, coaches, volunteers, and sponsors for believing in the vision and helping make Year 1 a success.

This is just the beginning.

🏈 11U BATTLEHAWKS 🏈

This season didn’t go the way we hoped on the scoreboard, but that doesn’t define this team.

For three months, these young athletes showed up, worked hard, and continued to battle through adversity. Week after week, they faced challenges and never quit.

Anybody can keep working when things are going well. Character is built when things aren’t.

Nobody remembers what trophy you won when you were 11 years old. What people remember is the person you became. They remember the teammate who never quit, the athlete who kept showing up, and the young man who chose to keep working when things got difficult.

This team showed resilience, toughness, and a commitment to each other that deserves to be recognized.

The lessons learned this season will last far longer than any win-loss record ever could.

Keep your heads high, boys. We are proud of you.

Go out there and crush it in the fall. We will see you back next season!

Our 13U and 14U Battlehawks seasons came to an end this weekend, but not before both teams showed exactly what Battlehawks football is all about.

Both teams entered the playoffs as the #8 seed and drew the toughest matchup possible against the #1 seeds in New England.

The 13U squad matched up against an exceptional Outlaws team out of Connecticut. Our boys traded blows with one of the region’s best programs all afternoon and held a 28-24 lead entering the 4th quarter. The Outlaws found another gear late and pulled away, but our players proved they belonged on that field and gave the #1 seed a battle they likely weren’t expecting.

The 14U team faced Pioneer Valley out of Western Massachusetts and came out firing. An early touchdown, an interception, and a drive that reached the 2-yard line had the momentum swinging our way. Despite creating opportunities throughout the game, we struggled to finish drives and ultimately fell 16-12 in a hard-fought contest.

While the scores didn’t fall our way, the growth, development, and resilience these players showed throughout the season cannot be measured by wins and losses alone.

To the 14U athletes continuing or moving on to high school football: thank you for representing the Battlehawks the right way. We can’t wait to watch you compete for varsity spots, earn playing time, and continue your football journeys. The future is bright, and we’re proud to have been a part of it.

🏈 9U SEASON RECAP 🏈

What an incredible season for our youngest group.

These boys showed tremendous resilience all year long, battling through the season with the smallest roster in the league and never backing down from a challenge.

Today was a fitting end to the season. In pouring rain and wind gusts that seemed determined to blow everyone off the field, these kids kept fighting until the final whistle.

To close out the year, they faced the undefeated powerhouse Silverbacks out of Lynn, MA. Our 9U squad was the first and ONLY team to score on the Silverbacks in week 5. They enjoyed it so much they decided to put another one in the end zone today!

More importantly, these young athletes grew as football players, teammates, and competitors. They learned what it takes to prepare and play at a high level and proved that Maine football can compete with anyone when the standard is raised.

As they head back to their hometown programs this fall, they’ll carry that experience with them and continue pushing the level of play forward. They are setting the bar here in southern Maine.

Proud of every one of these boys and grateful for the opportunity to coach them this season. It was an absolute blast.
