Seacoast Ski Club

The Seacoast Ski Club (SSC) was founded in 1982 & now promotes Alpine and Nordic skiing & other fun outdoor activities in the New Hampshire Seacoast area.

The Seacoast Ski Club (SSC) was founded in 1982 to promote Alpine and Nordic skiing in the New Hampshire Seacoast area. We have since become a four-season club enjoying a great variety of outdoor activities which include: skiing, snowboarding, biking, kayaking, rafting, hiking, sailing and camping. The club organizes day, weekend and week-long trips throughout the year. We have many members from Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine.

Past trip destinations have included:

Chamonix, France • Grindelwald, Switzerland • Cinque Terre, Italy • Morzine, France • Andora • Whistler, British Columbia • Lake Tahoe, California • Telluride, Colorado • Zermatt, Switzerland • Innsbruck, Austria • Big Sky, Montana • Sugarloaf, Maine • Stowe, Vermont • Jackson Hole, WY • Aspen, CO • Aleyeska, Alaska • Jay Peak, VT • Iceland • New Zealand/Fiji • Bike and Barge in France and in Italy • Bike weekends on Cape Cod • Zip-lining & Segway tour at Gunstock NH • and kayaking at Booth Bay Harbor, ME

The SSC is a nonprofit organization and run by vounteers. SSC offers a tremendous value on each trip package and all other club activities. Trip Leaders are trained member volunteers. Leaders receive club training to complement their life skills on how to successfully organize and promote club-sponsored trips. For more than 30 years, member volunteers have organized the Annual Seacoast Ski Club Ski Swap to benefit the skiing and snowboarding families of the greater Seacoast community. The Ski Swap is the single fund raiser for the club, club volunteers make it a huge success. Thank you to all the volunteers for their help! SSC meetings are held the second Monday of each month at 7:00 pm from September to June in the upstairs meeting room of the Redhook Brewery at Pease Tradeport in Portsmouth, NH. Many members meet in the Redhook Brewery Restaurant for dinner beforehand and receive a 10% meal discount. For more information about upcoming meetings and events, check out our Calendar.
