Best Buddies is a great charity organization that Papa Wheelies has been involved with for many years. The Hyannis Port Challenge is May 30, and this is the final tune up ride in a series. This ride is free, but everyone needs to register and sign a waiver, which you can do at the shop on Sunday. There will be multiple ride leaders to support the riders. Sunday Morning Gravel Group Ride at Mount Agamenticus Water District:
8:00AM Ride Start Sunday, May 17.
Meet at the YWD - Red Trail Parking Lot on Mountain Road about 1/2 mile east of the Mount A Summit road entrance. 11-mile loop with a good amount of climbing. Message if you plan to attend.
Route Description: What nice gravel forest roads! They are a jewel. Smooth and well-maintained for the most part (Gary's Revenge segment has some washed-out spots). Scituate Road and Mountain Road pavement around the east end of the pond, and then turning onto the first gravel road and climbing. And that Mount A climb is a classic. 41mph descent is always fun too.
