The numbers tell the story, but the energy behind them? That’s the part you had to feel.
Our extra-long COMBAT class is always special… but this year was on a whole different level. Moving into the SMS gym so we could fit more people felt like a big step—then over E I G H T Y of you showed up ready to punch, kick, sweat, and somehow smile your way through N I N E T Y minutes of absolute energy.
And then you did something even more incredible: together, this community raised $1,100 for the St. Vincent de Paul Community Assistance Center. Truly unbelievable.
Huge shoutout to the school for letting us use the gym (and to the staff who jumped in!), and an extra-big thank-you to Dr. Brett from Bonfire Chiropractic, who not only survived his first-ever Combat class but also made an extremely generous donation.
There’s just something about this class. Looking around and seeing mothers and daughters, siblings, best friends, new faces, old friends—everyone moving together—hit different this year. The energy was electric!
When a workout can mix your sweat with your tears and leave you smiling… you know you’ve created something special.
I hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful. I’m so deeply thankful for this community and every single one of you. ❤️

Last Saturday we got a bunch of PAC peeps together to celebrate one of the greatest!
Chris Clifford will officially be a taken woman on Saturday 10/26 so we had to get a little wild at the bar. We had everything we needed, drinks, friends, tiny hands + tiny babies!
Don’t worry, we warned Duane, Chris has a full blown BodyCombat army behind her so he better treat her right! 😉

Big shoutout to everyone who let me be my weird holiday filled self last week. I hope you all had the best Christmas and don’t worry, I’m back to regular people workout clothes next week.
No promises on waiting until next Christmas for another 12 Days workout though….

I feel like we must break some kind of rule. Six women who “work” together and who all truly love each other and lift each other up.
How? How did I get so lucky to have 5 teammates that I can laugh my ass off with, cry to when I’m having a bad day and go to for advice when I need it.
I am so very grateful for these women every day but extra long combat makes me extra grateful because, you know, Thanksgiving.
Lately I’ve had chats with Dylan about how girls need to support each other and try to minimize the mean girl spirit. Imagine if at a young age we could get girls to understand they can lift each other up instead of competing with each other? Maybe then my combat team wouldn’t be breaking any rules.

When I’m teaching class one of my favorite things to do (other than teach obvi) is to match peoples outfits.
Yesterday this perfect situation happened. Two sets of opposite matching!
I also like to see who’s shoes would go with who’s outfit, who’s pants match who’s top and we all know I love when your kettlebell matches too!

On Monday we pulled out all the big weights at Amp’d Up!
I love when members challenge themselves and surprise themselves with how strong they are.
I had many people in all 3 classes increase their weights and the look on their faces when they realized they could actually do it? Amazing.
