PHS 2010 Class Gift

Hello friends of PHS. If you haven't stopped by the high school lately you've missed the tremendous growth of the the hundreds of plants around campus. Because they have flourished, we recently divided many of the stella doros and are offering them for a bargain basement price of $5 per plant/bunch. In case you don't know what stella doros look like...just peek below. The beautiful yellow flowers bloom all summer and attract bees and butterflies! Sam Tombarelli and I will be at the high school between 8 am and noon this Saturday and are more than happy to help you adopt (really purchase) some PHS stellas...just in time for spring planting! you can personal message me with questions or requests.... All of your hard work 5 years ago is truly beautiful

Phase II BlitzBuild is Oct. 1st from 1 pm to finish. Several community sponsors have donated thousands to the project, with the Clipper Monument sponsorship going to Jose Selema of Dunkin' Donuts!

It's not too late to order your brick(s) or to sponsor a bench!

A dedication ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 15 @ 4:30.

The proposed landscaping of the Gym and Auditorium entrances is now planned for installation when school resumes in the fall. Online and mail-in brick orders are coming in! If you missed your chance last time, here's your opportunity to leave your mark on PHS.

Hello Clipper Family! As you may know, the Class of 2010 gave a gift of extreme proportions which included a total landscape renovation of the main entrance of PHS. Building off of this success, we are excited to share that we have just completed plans to continue this effort by re-landscaping around the gym and auditorium entrances of Portsmouth High School. We are calling this effort, “Phase II” and plan to complete the project this June.

The Portsmouth High School Class of 2010 cordially invites you to visit our newly landscaped main entrance! One granite sign, 690 engraved bricks, 12 new benches, 13 trees, and over 120 plants have been installed. Come check it out! There will be live music and light refreshments will be served.
