🚨 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Post Falls Sprint Triathlon! 🚨
The Parks & Recreation staff would truly appreciate your help in making the event smooth and successful!
📍 Location: Q'emiln Park, 12201 W. Parkway Drive, Post Falls
🏁 Race Day: Sunday, August 2
We need volunteers for a variety of fun and important roles:
🔹 Paddleboards, Jet Skis, Boats
🔹 Check-In, Body Marking, Packet Pick-Up
🔹 Swim Counters, Transition Area, Water Stations
🔹 Course Monitors, Food Help, Finish Line Assistance
🔹 Medal Distribution (City Council or Commissioners encouraged!)
🕓 Shift Times & Roles:
• Waterfront Crew: 6:15 AM – ~8:00 AM
• Check-In Team: 4:30 AM – 7:00 AM (can move to another role after)
• Food Help: 6:45 AM – 11:30 AM
• Race Support: 6:15 AM – 11:15 AM
• Transition Area: 5:00 AM – Noon
• Medal Distribution: 6:45 AM – 11:30 AM

💦Splash Pad Update:

The Beck Park Splash Pad is currently out of service due to a broken waterline. Staff is working to understand the timeline to return this amenity to service.

Tullamore Park Splash Pad is still non-operational, awaiting parts.

Syringa Park Splash Pad is open, operating from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

🌿👣 TOT TREKS – EXPLORING PARKS 🌳🦋

Discover the great outdoors with your little explorer! Join us for Tot Treks, a fun-filled nature adventure where you and your child will visit a different Post Falls park each week. Together, we’ll enjoy guided nature walks, explore the plants and wildlife around us, and finish each class with a hands-on craft inspired by the day’s discoveries.

This 45-minute program is the perfect way to get outside, learn, play, and make new friends!

Ages: 3–5 (with an adult)

Ready to glide onto the ice? Join Lake City Learn to Skate and learn the basic FUNdamentals of ice skating in a fun and supportive environment! Whether your child is stepping onto the ice for the first time or looking to build confidence, this program is a great place to start.

💲 Fee: $130 (includes weekly 30-minute group lessons and skate rentals)

⭐ Skaters are required to join Learn to Skate USA for an additional $20 annual membership, which includes sports insurance and other member benefits.

🏔️ CHAIRLIFT RIDE & HIKE AT SILVER MOUNTAIN 🥾

Join us for a brand-new summer adventure! Take in spectacular mountain views, ride the scenic gondola, and explore the beautiful alpine trails at Silver Mountain.

Leave the driving to us! Your registration includes round-trip transportation and a gondola ride to the top, where you'll have approximately 2 hours to hike, explore, and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. Pack a lunch and make a day of it!
