These girls played so well together this weekend and took 2nd in the Silver bracket. So fun to watch!

Good luck to U14 Tsunami in Centralia this weekend. Represent well!

Some things in life you choose not to talk about once it’s over. Nationals for U18 Tsunami is one of those things.😅😂 It certainly didn’t end like anyone hoped for, but we won’t dwell on it and are excited to highlight the extraordinary season they DID have.

*2nd in the region

*every Senior who pursued college ball, committed

*earned a National bid at a qualifier

*medaled 3 times in travel tournaments

*gold win locally

*placed 5th or higher in 10/12 tournaments

*competed in highest divisions they ever have

*72 games in all, which came to 160 sets!

*built new friendships & strengthened old ones

*had the best mentorship from coaches

*played a game they loved over and over again

This team has set a standard that Riptide will continue to pursue. They’ve set an example for the younger teams and shown us as a club what we are capable of doing if we continue to work toward excellence. In a short 5 seasons, we are able to look at this group and know what’s possible when we all come together.

Nationals was not one for the books, but in the end it’s about the collective goals and successes, not one tournament, and these girls have risen to the challenge over and over again. We wish the best of luck to these girls and will miss them, but are grateful to them for taking us to new heights. 💜🏐
